9/26/12- Hospitality Association Open House: Come and learn about the HA clubs and events, even sign up to participate! 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Lincoln Room, Kellogg Center
10/3/12- GHBO FIRST MEETING: Come and meet the E-Board, and learn about upcoming HA and GHBO events for the semester, and hear Dr. Kim speak! 7:00 pm, A120 Wells Hall
10/9 & 10/12- Homecoming Float Building: To prepare for the homecoming parade, all the HA members will have a chance to build floats from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the southeast side of Spartan Stadium.
10/17/12-GHBO Second Meeting Study abroad session, 7:00pm at A120 Wells Hall.
10/24/12-Movie Night Night Social. We will bring pop corns to have you enjoy a wonderful movie night. The location is to be determined!
11/05/12-GHBO Third Meeting Resume critiques, internship and jobs. We will have professionals to help you spruce up resume and make it stand out. Also information about internship and jobs will be available. Feel free to come at 7:00 pm and the location is A108 Wells Hall
11/28/12-GHBO Fourth Meeting- Christmas Social! 7:00pm A120 Wells Hall. We will be wrapping up the semester and going over the site visit tour to Frankenmuth! There will be cookie decorating, movies, and other refreshments available! Take a study break and come have some fun at our last meeting of the semester!
11/30/12- GHBO Bavarian Inn Lodge Site Tour! The visit will start at 11:00am, and conclude around 3:00pm. We will meet at 9:20am in the Business College Complex circle drive on the ground level. The visit will include a tour of the facilities by the COO, Mr. Jim Engel, lunch at Oma's Restaurant, and some free time to play a round of mini-golf!! The trip is open to all HB students, so please email us (globalhospitalitybusinessorg@gmail.com) for more information if you are interested in participating by Wednesday, November 28th. The cost for GHBO members will be about $5 to cover for gas; for all other students, the cost of trip will be the full $15.
